The final product did not have any risks since we were shooting at a group member’s house. This was a safe space to shoot without any outdoor risks including traffic, crowd or a shady area. Hence, we were able to shoot comfortably knowing that even if there was some inconvenience we could calmly sort out the problem. For the previous film that we were to create, there was a risk factor as we had to shoot the last part at a risky location. It was risky because the area is in the middle of a large park. It has no crowd, traffic or noise near it but since we had to shoot after sunset it was unsafe.
We had a different story previously that we had confirmed from our teacher. Me and Azwa had created its script. Azwa had also created a mood board. Everything was finalised and we all gathered for the first day of our shoot and then the second. We showed a rough cut to our teacher who pointed out many mistakes. We could come up with solutions and continue with it. However, we realised this story was very difficult to create and with the short amount of time left we could to come up with a simple narrative and a basic script. This would ensure we worked more on cinematography and wasted less time. After our teacher confirmed it, we completed our new project with the most planning we could do in the little time because deadlines were approaching. All the planning I have on my blog is related to the final product we created and not the previous one with the script given above.
